I guess you could say that this is me. Or, as close to me as you can be using free internet resources such as the wonderful Facebook.
Three things matter to me: being totally convinced of my own correctness (it’s a failing, I know); living a life of rationality (which is redeeming slightly); and presenting an honest front on this green-backed website, which should be appreciated objectively for its usefulness, but not always liked.
Green is my favourite colour. I think this is an important thing to mention. I have green eyes, but that’s neither a reason nor result of my favourite colour. It is incidental.
People sometimes draw pictures of me. Maybe I will bring them to you one day.
Sometimes I get angry at things I cannot help, but want to. Sometimes I am cold and cruel to people I am meeting for the first time. Sometimes this attitude will stay that way, but for those who show themselves to be decent people, I will defend them should they need me to. They are the lucky ones.
This is my website. It is where I have lived for over three years. It is my own space pitched in the virtual world, dug out and fortified over the years. It will always be here, and someone will always be writing for it. It has been renamed, recoloured and redesigned. It has been suspended, twice, and even shut down. But it’s still here, still going despite everything. That’s the way it will always be.
